Corbel Capital was founded in 2020 by John to advise select clients on M&A and other strategic and financial transactions as well as major investment decisions.
Corbel leverages his unique track record and network garnered across a career spanning a diverse range of sectors from Professional Services, Banking, Family Office investing to public company M&A.
Whilst Corbel has grown and evolved over the years, it’s mission remains the same - to exclusively serve the unique and often complex needs of CEOs and CFOs, their Boards of Directors and the Financial Sponsors that back them by providing, thoughtful, hands-on experience in, not only getting the deal done but in getting the right deal done, discreetly and effectively.
He possesses undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Computer Science, Business and Law (University of Galway, University College Dublin, INSEAD, The Law Society) and is a non-executive director, investor and advisor to a number of private businesses, PE and VC funds in Europe and the US.
Jeroen is the Managing Partner of Pacenotes, a pan-European fund-of-funds business which he founded in 2020. Before, Pacenotes Jeroen was Managing Partner of Rabo Frontier Ventures - the strategic venture arm of Rabobank where he built and oversaw a global portfolio of some $275m in top-tier VC funds and direct investments.
John is a highly experienced chartered accountant and seasoned investor after spending a number of years in fast growth tech companies, venture finance and family office. Previously, John was Managing Partner of Element Finance a Venture Debt fund headquartered in Texas and prior to that he spent a number of years as Investment Director for Irelandia Investments, the family office of the founders of Ryanair.
